A Three-Year Journey
Hope you are better soon. I know there is icky stuff going around here too!
Dear KJ,Thanks. I've got swollen glands and a cough tonight. I'll be so annoyed if I have to miss my gardening class on Thursday night! Susan
Hope you feel better soon!
Rest dear friend!Hot lemon and honey drinks! A traditional family remedy passed from my mother, to me, and on to loved ones. The magical properties of NZ Manuka Honey if possible, freshly grated ginger is another delicious addition. Sipped, especially in the evening, it can be very soothing and comforting.Be well!Emma
Praying you feel better soon!
Thanks Mariposa! Quite honestly, after all I've been through, physical illness never really bothers me. It's just an inconvenience.Susan
Emma,Thank you so much! I have to smile as I read this. For many years, we had a housekeeper who had worked for my grandmother and my mother. To me, she was like another mother, and she was crazy about my son.Her remedy for coughs and cold was the same as yours. But, I've never heard of the kind of honey you recommend, and I'll have my husband check it out.And thanks so much for passing it on!Susan
Dear Paula Joy,Thanks so very much!Susan
take good care of yourselves, i hope it's short-lived for you both.
Back here...I found this old article before on dealing with bad moods and mood swings and I am posting it in my other site. Here is the link --Lifting a Bad MoodIn case readers might be interested to check it out.(((HUGS)))
Dear Katie,Thanks. It's got to be over tomorrow because it's my next to last gardening class for this semester. I'm really tired tonight, but hopeful!Susan
Dear Mariposa,Thanks for the link. I'm really tired tonight, and need to go to bed early, but I check it out tomorrow.Hugs back at you!Susan
Hope you feel better soon Susan! There seems to be a lot of flu and colds flying around right now. Better Spring days ahead, right?
Dear Florida Sue,There are better spring days ahead...but only if I go to my gardening class tomorrow night so I can weed my plot. We've got to dig it all up on June 4th, but I'm moving my herb garden home, and can't wait.If this darn cold doesn't go away, I plan on planting medicinal herbs!Susan
Get well soon, Susan. Take care :)
